Psalm 44 — Psalms 44:22–45:1

Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
PS 44:22
Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord?
Arise, cast us not off for ever.
Wherefore hidest thou thy face,
And forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
For our soul is bowed down to the dust:
Our body cleaveth unto the earth.
Rise up for our help,
And redeem us for thy lovingkindness' sake.
PS 44:23–26
PSALM 45第四十五篇For the Chief Musician; set to Shoshannim. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves.
My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter;
I speak the things which I have made touching the king:
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
